Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB):
Some of the Gurukul Engineering & Medical Institutions are affiliated under Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). BTEB came into existence with the jurisdiction over the entire area of Bangladesh to organize, supervise, regulate, control and develop technical and vocational education.
State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh:
Some of Gurukul medical institutions are affiliated under State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh. The State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh was established in 1914 for the purpose of holding examinations and awarding diplomas to L.M.F. and M.M.F doctors. After partition of Bengal in 1947, The State Medical Faculty of East Pakistan was created for the same purpose. Subsequently compoundership, Dresscrship, Para-medical Technicians, Medical Assistant and Palli Chikitshak courses have been introduced and this Faculty has been holding examinations and awarding diplomas and certificates to the successful candidates.
Bangladesh Nursing Council (BNC):
Bangladesh Nursing Council (BNC) is the Regulatory Body and Focal Point from which all activities relating to nursing are managed. This includes all involved in nursing and midwifery education and practices. Though Regulation of Nursing education and practices is the responsibility of the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council, Council works closely with the Directorate of Nursing Services in regulating Nursing and Midwifery Services.
